Obrigado, for pt_BR I had a separate ticket #5476 since I know how different these two languages can be.

Your patch is only of small use right now. We do not change anything in the Python files themselves, but with our development version we use message catalog files that we edit. Please see the example at source:sandbox/i18n/trac/locale/pt_PT/LC_MESSAGES/messages.po

I can probably salvage enough from this. Please direct any future updates on pt_BR to #5476 please.

That lastest patch is against [7058].

Until genshi is improved translation/markup wise there's almost no sense on updating the catalogs.

Splited phrases are hard(almost impossible) to translate.
